10 Quesions for 2025 Planning

As we head into the home stretch of 2024, there's a good chance you are involved in planning for 2025. On the work front, it could be a formal process connected to developing your organization's annual plan. On the personal front, you may be reflecting on the year that's wrapping up and jotting down ideas for the year to come. Or maybe you're beating yourself up because you haven't had time to do any planning.

Don't beat yourself up! I'm here to help.

Here's my contribution to the process: 10 questions that can help you jumpstart your plan OR augment the planning work you're already doing. Suggestion: Download this one pager with the questions and carry it with you. When you find yourself with a few bonus minutes during the day, grab this list and jot down your initial responses.

  9. What's my theme or "True North" for the year?

  10. What are my top 3-5 Big Rocks to focus on?

An important word about Big Rocks:

Big Rocks are the major personal and professional goals you decide to focus on for the year. They provide a focal point as you check in weekly on how you're spending your time and delivering results. Big Rocks are essential in moving through the year with intention.

As I was wrapping up this newsletter I received a call from a longtime client who asked, "Do you have an hour to help me start putting together a plan for next year?" Next week we'll jam on a number of the questions I noted above. Whether you book an hour with me or carve out that time for some solo work, please pause, pull up, and give yourself that gift.

PS: Thank you for the awesome feedback on last month's newsletter, 10 Ideas I Recently Shared with Clients. I loved reading about the ideas y'all are putting into practice. Please keep me posted as you work to put a giant exclamation point on 2024!
